Square Tank

This stainless steel storage tank is one of the oldest models in Letina’s lineup. Tried and tested throughout the years, it has proven its versatility and value time and time again.

Thanks to constant design improvements, the closed tank got better over the years – just like the wine it’s designed to contain.

Whether you want a simple storage tank, a fermentation tank, something to age your product in or even a mixing vessel – this closed top tank can do it all.

large, dimpled jacket makes sure the temperature inside the sealed tank is always optimal. Thanks to the vertical construction of the cooling jacket, the stored liquids will be efficiently chilled even if the closed tank is not full to the brim.

Durable, high-quality materials enable the storage tank to stay in pristine condition, even after years of professional usage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I choose a square wine tank over a traditional round one?

Square wine tanks are designed for maximum spatial efficiency. Unlike cylindrical tanks, which leave unusable gaps between them, the rectangular geometry allows for seamless placement against walls and corners. This design can increase your cellar’s storage capacity by up to 25% by reclaiming space typically lost to circular curves.

Yes. Our square tanks feature a modular, reinforced design that allows for vertical stacking. This architectural flexibility enables winemakers to utilize the full height of their cellar, making it an ideal solution for facilities with limited floor space but high ceilings.

Our tanks utilize a vertical cooling jacket construction. Unlike horizontal bands that only chill specific levels, the vertical orientation ensures that even a low volume of liquid maintains contact with the cooling surface. This provides consistent temperature control regardless of the fill level.

Actually, it simplifies it. The straight-line geometry of square tanks creates a uniform perimeter. This allows for a much cleaner, more stable installation of catwalk systems and overhead plumbing compared to the staggered layout required by round tanks.

Constructed from high-grade, corrosion-resistant materials, these tanks are built for the rigors of professional winemaking. The reinforced corners and high-quality welds ensure the tank remains in pristine condition and maintains its structural integrity even after years of heavy industrial usage.
