Brandy Tank
Brandy Tank
The Brandy Tank is a vertical, cylindrical vessel specifically engineered for the storage and resting of premium liquors like brandy, gin, and other spirits. Made from high-quality stainless steel, this tank is designed to provide a neutral environment that preserves the integrity of your distillate without influencing its flavor or aroma.
Its narrow footprint and elevated leg design make it an ideal choice for boutique distilleries where floor space is at a premium but professional standards are a must.
Neutral Storage Environment: Stainless steel is completely odorless and imparts no taste, ensuring your spirits remain exactly as intended.
Top-Mounted Manway: Equipped with a secure, easy-to-operate top manway for convenient filling, inspection, and cleaning.
Marble-Finish (Marbled) Exterior: Features a high-quality marbled finish that is not only aesthetically professional but also easier to clean and resistant to visible fingerprints.
Elevated Design: Mounted on three durable legs, allowing for easy access to the bottom discharge valve and providing clearance for floor cleaning.
Precision Tap: Includes a front-mounted discharge tap for controlled racking and sampling of your product.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a vertical cylindrical shape used for spirits storage?
This design maximizes vertical space in the distillery. The vertical orientation allows for a smaller footprint while maintaining a significant volume capacity (200L+), making it easier to manage several different small-batch distillates in a compact area.
Can this tank be used for long-term aging?
Yes. Stainless steel is the perfect material for “resting” spirits. Unlike wood, it does not allow for oxygen exchange or flavor additives, making it the preferred choice for white spirits (like Gin or Silver Tequila) or for stabilizing Brandy after it has finished its barrel aging.
Is the top manway airtight?
The tank is designed with a secure top closure to prevent contamination and protect the spirit from outside environmental factors. This helps maintain the alcohol-by-volume (ABV) and prevents the evaporation of delicate aromatic compounds.
What are the benefits of the marbled stainless steel finish?
Beyond its professional appearance, the marbled finish (also known as “circle-polished”) is highly practical for a working distillery. It masks minor scratches and water spots better than a mirror finish, ensuring the tank stays in pristine condition even with daily usage.
Is the tank easy to clean between different batches of spirits?
Absolutely. The vertical cylindrical interior has no sharp corners where oils or residues can hide. Combined with the top-access manway, it is very straightforward to rinse and sanitize, allowing you to switch between different products (e.g., Gin to Brandy) without flavor carryover.
